You know what you do at 3:00 in the morning of the day you’re going to have surgery on your stomach? You trim your toenails! Because heaven knows how long it’ll be until I can scrunch down there again!

And THIS after going to bed at as close to midnight as you can get because that’s the cut off time for consumption of any kind and you want water, because your radiators – which you quite love and are very thankful for in the double-digit below zero temps we’re having – cause the winter air in your house to be very, very dry.

Now I’m going to attempt to go back to sleep, otherwise I’ll be unbearable (to who, I wonder?). Therefore, tales of Chapter 22 Remembrances & Regrets will have to wait, because I don’t want to rush it.
